Our Program

In order to plan our academic year purposefully, and prepare our students for the increased rigors of both the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and college and career expectations, Pioneer Preparatory School, with the assistance of the Arizona Charter Schools Association, has developed Essential Learning Outcomes (ELOs) for each grade level in both language arts and mathematics. Our ELOs are based on endurance, readiness, and relevancy for the next grade level—ensuring our students will be prepared for what lies next for them in their academic careers. View our ELOs for each grade level.

Kid-Friendly Standards provide the opportunity to view Common Core standards in Language Arts and Math in terms that kids can understand. View the standards.

Superkids Prek-2nd comprehensive Ela and Phonics program.

Journys 3rd-6th covers ELA and Writing.  

MyMath is a comprehensive K through 5 and Glencoe is 6th mathematics program.

Foss Science (5th-6th) is a hands-on science program that provides inquiry-rich content with teacher-led inquiry activities and cross-curricular connections that link reading and science skills.  Students love to get their hands-on science.

Compass Learning is an online program for students and teachers.  This program includes lessons and activities that are based on current and confirmed research about the way today’s students think and learn. The Learning Odyssey for primary and secondary students facilitate response to intervention, differentiated and personalized instruction, and formative assessment that helps drive data-based decision making.
